Live Stream on Twitch and reach more fans with the Amazon Music app

Amazon Music recently announced an exciting integration between its live streaming platform Twitch and the Amazon Music app on Android and IOS, enabling fans to engage with artists and to move seamlessly between live-streams and recorded music.

The Amazon Music extension provides Twitch live streamers with Prime or Amazon Music subscriptions the ability to share music with viewers who are also Prime or Amazon Music Unlimited subscribers during their live Twitch streams. The host of the live stream becomes a DJ to viewers and can even earn money when viewers upgrade from Prime to Amazon’s premium on-demand subscription service, Amazon Music Unlimited.

Follow these instructions to get started:

  • Connect your Twitch Channel through Profile & Tools in Amazon Music for Artists
  • If you don’t have a Twitch, you can sign up for a channel here.
  • Livestreams appear on your artist profile page in the Amazon Music mobile app. Amazon Music alerts your fans and followers anytime you go live on Twitch.
