What is Super Chat?
A Super Chat is a comment that is going to be pinned and highlighted in your live stream chat.
Depending on the monetary donation of the Super Chat, it will change colours and the duration for how long it’s pinned.
This feature is a fun way to interact with your audience and creates a new source of revenue for you from your YouTube channel.
One key piece of advice YouTube give on using the feature is that you introduce it to your fans, so make sure you mention Super Chat on your socials and in your next live stream.
What are Super Stickers?
Similar to Super Chat, viewers can also buy Super Stickers during live streams or Premieres.
Super Stickers are animated images that let viewers choose from a variety of expressions to show support or convey emotions in response to what is happening in your live stream. They will also appear in the chat stream and be pinned to the top of the chat for a period of time.
Both these features are only available during live streams or YouTube premieres. You can turn these features on and off by following the instructions here.
