Well, here we are at the end of probably one of the most challenging years any of us have ever experienced.
We are gladdened and very proud that people around the country have stepped up to the plate, working together to get through this.
The team at Absolute have been no different and, without exception, have worked above and beyond to ensure all our artists and labels have been able to continue trading and bring music to market.
We have seen releases from a wide range of artists and labels; hundreds of streaming playlist additions; playlisted records and albums of the week at national radio; exciting TV appearances; wonderful shows and tours (both real and virtual); charting albums and singles; innovative marketing campaigns; substantial sales/streams; and careers moving forward and progressing.
This all prepares Absolute, our labels and our artists for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in 2021.
We truly believe this will be a pivotal year for our industry. And that people will consume music in even greater numbers, across a wider range of genres, highlighting the role music plays in our everyday lives and how vital it has been in helping us all get through this dreadful year.
