If lockdown has taught George Barnett anything, it’s that he’s more comfortable being himself. The multi-instrumentalist previously performed and produced music under the moniker AKA George but, in just the last few weeks, after some soul searching and plenty of stuck-at-home songwriting, he’s decided to drop the burden of a conscious public image and embrace whatever comes naturally. We sat down with George Barnett to get his take on working independently, what he’s been up to during lockdown and his ultimate goals.
