TikTok make it super easy to see both the performance of your music and any clips users have created with your songs within their app.
To find your music simply switch to the ‘Discover‘ tab and use the search box to find your release. You can search by artist or title.
Once your search results have loaded switch to the ‘Sounds‘ tab. From here you’ll be able see all of your releases listed, you’ll also have the ability to hear the segment TikTok users are able to make clips with by hitting the play button. Absolute artists who wish to switch the 60 second segment available on the app can do so by contacting their label manager.
On the right hand side you’ll see a number listed – this is the number of user generated videos that contain your music. In the example below ‘Don’t Lose Ur Head’ has been used 1.6 million times. Tapping on the track will take you through to the song page where you can see the clips featuring your music, add to favourites or create a video using the sound.
TikTok are currently in the process of rolling out ‘Music‘ tabs for verified artists. The music tab makes it easy for users to find all of an artist’s tracks directly from their user profile.
